DrugFinder is InhibOx's virtual screening web service. It generates a list of commercially-available molecules (including supplier details) that are potentially active against a supplied target protein. DrugFinder uses our in-house virtual screening methods and builds on our collaboration with the highly successful Screensaver Lifesaver project.

How it works
DrugFinder is easy to use: Users submit their target of interest through a web form to our to our virtual screening system. DrugFinder requires the structure of the complex of a known ligand bound to the target of interest. DrugFinder then searches through CSpace, our carefully curated library of about 6 million commercially-available, drug-like molecules. When the screening is finished, we return a list of putative inhibitors by email, along with information about their suppliers.
The service is confidential, with the resulting intellectual property remaining that of the group which submits the task.
Services
DrugFinder offers three levels of virtual screening:

Bronze
|
The user's crystal structure of a receptor and bound ligand will be used to query InhibOx's database of commercially-available molecules : the top 100 ligands are returned. InhibOx awards grants to cancer-related projects enabling them to access the Bronze service. |

Silver
|
This is a two stage service that expands on the Bronze level, where the user selects several of the top hits and submits a set of substructure queries to screen related molecules from the larger set of molecules in CSpace.

Gold
|
The Gold service is a completely customized service, where InhibOx's suite of tools is available for the construction of a made-to-order workflow. Lead optimization is also offered.

The DrugFinder service is a joint venture between InhibOx Ltd. and the National Foundation for Cancer Research (NFCR); 20% of proceeds from DrugFinder go to the NFCR to support cancer research.
